Forward Discovery Implements Nuix for Speed and Scalability

Nuix, a worldwide provider of information management technologies and Forward Discovery, Inc., a leader in information security, computer forensics, eDiscovery and training, today announced that Forward Discovery has added Nuix's software to its eDiscovery offering in order to provide faster and more effective processing capabilities to their clients.
Formed in 2007, Forward Discovery chose Nuix for its ability to scale quickly and cost-effectively to handle data sets of any size. With upwards of 90 percent of Forward Discovery's eDiscovery data processing involving email files, Nuix was selected for being the only solution on the market that could handle large scale, fast processing of both Microsoft Exchange database (EDB) and Lotus Notes (NSF) files.
After receiving 7 terabytes of raw exchange database files from a potential client, Forward Discovery realized they needed a more advanced solution to keep up with the large amounts of data that exist in modern eDiscovery cases. The company decided it was imperative to implement a solution that could process large amounts of information, including historically-difficult data sets, in a quick and efficient way. After reviewing the products currently on the market, Forward Discovery decided to implement Nuix's software on a multi-core workstation, and export the data into kCura's Relativity for easy review.
