Paul manages litigation and dispute resolution for Macquarie in the Americas and is responsible for litigation, regulatory matters, arbitrations, internal investigations and eDiscovery issues across the firm’s business units. Before joining Macquarie, Paul worked in the litigation department at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, where he represented clients primarily in securities litigation and antitrust matters. Paul received his LLM from New York University School of Law in 2005, where he was awarded the Betty Bock Prize in Competition Policy.
Paul is the lead stakeholder and champion for Nuix Discover (formerly Ringtail) for what Macquarie refers to internally as “Project Ringtail” (aka Nuix Discover On-Boarding). He represents the users or business of the software. Lawyers at Macquarie struggled with other solutions over the past several years; Nuix Discover has been a revelation. “Exactly the kind of ECA we want to be doing and we can!” Paul and other lawyers on his team have been willing and eager partners, helping Nuix to convert the Nuix/Macquarie collaboration and create:
- New attorney-focused, results-oriented demo script for Nuix Discover
- Multiple sales enablement sessions
- Multiple labs and lectures at the 2019
- Nuix User Exchange Repeatable anecdotal success stories
