Nuix gives back to the community by helping to build schools and libraries, empowering the next generation of young women leaders through education scholarships, donating software to child protection agencies, supporting tertiary education courses in digital discovery and investigation, and matching employees’ donations for disaster relief.

Schools and Libraries
Nuix and Room to Read have helped local communities in Cambodia, Laos, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam build six schools and four libraries.
Local Language Publishing
Room to Read gives children local-language materials that will inspire them to read, expand their minds, and develop a lifelong love for reading and learning. To date, Nuix has funded the publishing of over 9,000 local-language children’s books in Nepal.
Girls’ Education Scholarships
Nuix donations have provided nearly 200 scholarships to support girls so they can graduate high school and develop the skills they need to negotiate key life decisions. Room to Read scholarships provide material help in areas such as school fees, uniforms, books and transportation.
Finishing secondary school leads to smaller, healthier families, lower HIV infection rates, and higher wages. Educated women are more likely to educate their own children —ending the cycle of illiteracy in one generation.
“I wish I could bottle and send you the joy that exudes from the children whenever they open a new book or recognize a new word for the first time. They are on their way to becoming avid, independent readers, and I cannot wait to watch as class after class of students learns to read using the books and materials you have helped us provide. Thank you for supporting our efforts to promote literacy and bring these wonderful new resources to the communities!”
Unmesh Brahme, Country Director | Room to Read India
We donate software to child protection agencies around the world. For example, we provided investigation software at no charge to help Matla A Bana—a not-for-profit working with the child protection unit of the South African Police Services—create a new digital investigations department.
Nuix has donated software and training to the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) to support its vital work uncovering cross-border crime, corruption, money laundering, and tax evasion. ICIJ and its media partners used Nuix to index and search the data at the heart of the high-profile Paradise Papers, Panama Papers, and Offshore Leaks investigations.

Nuix appreciates and supports the generosity of its staff who donate money and goods to support worthy causes. Nuix matched employee donations to the American Red Cross dollar for dollar during Hurricane Harvey disaster relief program. We also collected donations of household items at our offices across the United States.
