HERNDON, VA – May 14, 2019 — Nuix (www.nuix.com), a risk, compliance, and security software company, announced today that Carey Bandler, Director of Strategic Accounts at Nuix USG, has once again been appointed to AFCEA International’s Board of Directors.
Bandler started his two-year term on Monday, May 13, continuing his active participation in the development of AFCEA’s global initiatives and other affairs, as well as taking part in the association’s Governance Committee and continuing to lead the Technology Committee as co-chair.
Bandler, a former president of the Young AFCEA Advisory Council (YAAC), said he is honored to be chosen to continue to serve on the board of an organization that supports members in the information technology and intelligence communities.
“My role within Nuix USG aligns with AFCEA’s mission, and the ethical exchange of information AFCEA promotes enables government, industry, and academia to collaborate on issues facing the defense, homeland security, and intelligence communities,” he added.
Bandler has more than two decades of experience in supporting clients across IT, intelligence, and cybersecurity markets.
Founded in 1946, AFCEA is a nonprofit organization that works to address issues relevant to members in IT, electronics, and communications sectors.
