ON-DEMAND WEBINAR // Fighting Fraud at Scale: Insights from Canada Revenue Agency

Government fraud has fundamentally changed. It's no longer about paper schemes or isolated incidents. Today's threats operate at digital speed and massive scale.

But how do you modernize investigations without compromising accountability, move faster without losing precision, and collaborate across boundaries never designed for shared data?

Join this webinar to learn directly from leaders who've done just this, and built defenses that work.

Nuix was pleased to partner with Public Sector Network to host this webinar.

What You’ll Learn

  • Why identity fraud remains the #1 risk: Static credentials and knowledge-based questions no longer work against dark web data and synthetic identities
  • Where procurement breaks down: Volume, complexity, and fragmented oversight enable collusion, double billing, and invoice fraud
  • Balancing constraints with capability: Extracting value from existing people, processes, and technology before chasing new tools - and why underinvesting in people creates the weakest link
  • Testing controls before fraudsters do: Fraud red teaming, tip-to-tail process mapping, and failure analysis that reveal gaps formal reviews miss
  • Using AI as defense: Analyzing datasets to spot extreme bids, billing anomalies, and vendor issues - while building the strong data foundations AI requires through cross-department information sharing and integrated data governance
  • Shifting from blame to resilience: Treating fraud detection as success and fostering cross-department collaboration
