Beginner’s Guide to the Nuix User Exchange

The 2018 Nuix User Exchange is just over two weeks away and is shaping up to be one of the most expansive and educational events we’ve ever held. With some of the biggest keynote speakers we’ve ever welcomed, a broader array of sessions, and networking opportunities abounding, it’s an event worth travelling to Huntington Beach for.

While we’ll follow a format similar to prior years, newcomers to the conference might be overwhelmed by the depth of the conference activities and sessions. Here are a few quick tips to make the most out of your visit.

Haven’t registered yet? Don’t worry—there’s still time. Visit the User Exchange site for conference information and registration. Hotel space and seats for some of the most popular sessions are filling up, so don’t wait too long!

Download the Conference Mobile App When You Arrive

The best way to navigate your time at the Nuix User Exchange is to download and use our mobile app. You’ll be able to view your personal agenda, browse sessions, meet our speakers, and share your photos of the event all in one spot. You can also take your session surveys and be entered to win our giveaways through the app, and we’ll send out reminder notifications about key events over the course of the event.

Be sure to download the CrowdCompass Attendee Hub App from your app store and select the Nuix User Exchange 2018 as your event. You will need to login using the email you registered for the User Exchange with. The app will be available for download a day or two prior to the conference.

Review and Register for Your Sessions

We’d hate for you to miss out on a panel discussion, lab, or other session just because the room was full! After you’ve registered for the conference, make sure you sign up for the sessions you most want to attend. Our educational sessions are arranged in several tracks to make it easier to decide which is right for you, with options including eDiscovery, investigations, cybersecurity, developer, product innovation, and partner tracks.

You can sign up for sessions and pre-conference activities taking place on Sunday, Sept. 16 by clicking the Already Registered? link on the User Exchange website. Enter the email address you used to register and your confirmation number, then enter your session and activity choices.

Take Part in the Evening Events

Every night you’re in Huntington Beach, we host entertaining and relaxed events where you can meet your fellow attendees, mingle, and continue learning by talking about your shared or unique experiences.

You simply can’t measure the value of hearing how someone from another organization might tackle a problem you’re facing, or possibly hear about uses of Nuix software that you might not have thought were possible. Come to the Endless Summer Welcome Reception, Art of Illusion Reception and Gala Dinner, and Festival Farewell ready to share ideas, meet new people, and capitalize on every moment you’re together with us!

Extend Your Experience

On Wednesday, Sept. 19, our incredible training team will hold day-long training sessions to certify students in Nuix Web Review & Analytics and as Nuix eDiscovery Specialists.

Seats for these two training opportunities are extremely limited. The training fee includes a complimentary pass to the User Exchange and the option to take the applicable certification exam following the training. Visit our training information page for more details.

Have Fun and Learn

The Nuix User Exchange is designed to give you the best possible opportunity to learn and expand your knowledge of Nuix software in a relaxed, fun atmosphere inspired by beautiful Huntington Beach. Come prepared to soak up as much knowledge as you can and ask as many questions as possible, but also expect to enjoy your stay.

If you have any questions at all while you’re with us, don’t hesitate to stop a passing Nuix staff member and ask for help or information. We’ll all be more than happy to do everything we can to make this the best conference experience possible.
